General

🥀 The Bolívar family moved to the island from Bolivia. (The mainland origin came after the designation of the surname I gave Flora. It's just so on the nose for VP, I couldn't resist!)
🥀 Their garden was able to rival Jardiniero's for a while, although they would come in a dead second every time. However, they were able to almost pull ahead after Jardiniero's garden incident 10 years before Classic... before their own garden was destroyed 5 years before Classic.
🥀 Like the Artiza family, two generations of the family (Isa, Flora, Fauna) all suffer from C-PTSD.

Flora

🌺 Flora age regresses as a coping mechanism. It's involuntary though, and really only happens during certain points of extreme stress related to her past.
🌺 Since Flora never knew who her father was when she was younger, she designated the singer Rick Astley as her honorary father. Her brother played along with it.
🌺 Flora's fave colour is orange! It reminds her of her fave flower, the bird of paradise!
🌺 Her fave pinata is the Flutterscotch, especially the orange variant!
🌺 Flora views Leafos as her closest friend (outside of Seedos)! Leafos was the one who allowed Flora the dream job opportunity, and was also Flora's biggest ally as she learned about the joys and wonders of pinata.
🌺 Her fave food is Sopa de Mani (a Bolivian peanut soup) served with rice and boiled chicken! Her abuela, Grazi, made it for her a lot when she was younger.

🐺 Fauna lives with Dastardos in the tree by Jardiniero's old garden. Initially, Dastardos only agreed to a new tenant if and only if Fauna minded his business and left him alone, but eventually the two grew closer and now are second family to each other.
🐺 When Fauna was 16, he ran away from Dastardos to try and live a normal life. He ended up meeting a boy and they had a quick fling. However, Fauna grew insecure that the boy would find out his true self and eventually ran back to his sour family without a word to the boy.
🐺 Fauna has gauges, but is considering getting eyebrow piercings and snake bites.
🐺 Fauna can actually eat bones! He is also able to be bribed by them, no matter if he's on duty or not.

💃 Back when she was her kids' age, she was a big party girl, which was convenient considering where the family lives is right by the second-biggest destination for a good time grooving!
